Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining safe, functional and welcoming spaces. This includes carrying out general maintenance and repair tasks, assisting with scheduled upkeep to keep our spaces safe and appealing, maintaining external cleanliness of the facility and grounds, responding to maintenance requests and assisting with repairs.

  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Assisting with scheduled upkeep to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the facilities.
  • Maintaining external cleanliness of the facility and grounds, including gardens and outdoor areas.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A hands-on approach to maintenance and repairs.
  • Basic knowledge of building upkeep, gardening or general handyman skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of health and safety practices and ability to follow safe work procedures.
  • Manual driver's license preferred.
  • Current Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
