Senior Technical Officer

This exciting role combines technical expertise and stakeholder collaboration. You will lead workshop operations, coordinate inductions, and train staff on equipment.

About the Role
  • Schedule and manage workshop activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Liaise with researchers, academics, and industry partners to identify job priorities.
  • Operate and program CNC and multi-axis lathes, as well as manual equipment.
  • Review and produce CAD technical drawings to support prototyping and research.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to WHS standards and SOPs.
  • Lead and mentor technical staff, promoting collaborative relationships across the University.
About You

We seek an experienced leader with a degree or trade qualification in Engineering. With at least four years' relevant experience, you will deliver exceptional performance and outcomes.
