About the Opportunity

Hunter Executive is a leading Australian-owned recruitment company focusing on permanent professional positions in various industries, including Engineering, Mining & Resources, Environment & Water, and more.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's team in Brisbane. This is a newly created role that will play a crucial part in the growth trajectory of the water division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and design water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pumping stations, dams, and other water infrastructure facilities.
  • Lead and run own projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and project teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in water infrastructure engineering, preferably with a tier one consultancy.
  • Strong business development acumen and ability to positively impact team and organisational culture.
  • Proficiency in 12D Civil/Civil 3D and experience in civil engineering and detail design work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and clients.
