Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and be able to develop efficient procedures for quality control.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement processes for manufacturing, integration, assembly, and inspection.
  • Design and implement tooling for work access, testing, and build fixturing.
  • Define and document inspection requirements and procedures.
  • Create training programs for production and inspection processes.
  • Author plans and procedures for process execution and data collection.
  • Contain non-conforming hardware in collaboration with quality and production groups.
  • Work closely with design teams to improve design for manufacturability.
  • Conduct quality reviews to identify repeat and high-impact issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials engineering, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or design engineering.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with the build, assembly, or integration of structures, avionics, valves, fluid system components, actuators, thermal protection systems, or other aerospace components.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse engineering disciplines.
  • Mechanical tooling or component design and design for manufacturability.
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD Software such as NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
  • Knowledge of metallic manufacturing techniques, processes, and equipment related to machining, bending, forming, casting, additive manufacturing, fastening, drilling, and/or bonding.
  • Knowledge of mig, tig, laser, stud, spot, or robot welding techniques, as well as visual, penetrant, x-ray, EMAT, or other NDT processes.
