Job Title: Credit OfficerDescription:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our finance team as a Credit Officer. This role involves managing debtor collections, liaising with partners, and resolving client queries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Manage debtor collections via calls and emails to ensure timely payment of outstanding debts.
  • Liaise with partners to collect outstanding debtors and maintain positive relationships.
  • Resolve client queries efficiently and effectively, providing accurate and prompt solutions.
  • Assist in rectifying unidentified deposits and maintaining financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • 5+ years' experience in credit control, preferably within a law firm or professional services.
  • Experience with debtor collections for insurance clients is highly desirable.
  • A strong track record in reducing debt with a focus on cash flow management.
  • Good decision-making skills when collecting debtors.
  • The ability to build strong relationships across all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and an ability to plan and prioritise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • A high level of enthusiasm and a positive approach.
