What You Will Be Doing As a Hospital Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist), you will report to the Hospital Collector Lead and work in a team across wards including Paediatrics, Medical, ICU, CCU, Emergency, Oncology, Special Care Nursery, Maternity and Rehabilitation.
You will use empathy and drive to deliver excellent customer service and quality healthcare, liaising with doctors, nurses and patients to understand needs and requirements.Your key responsibilities will include:Liaising & building effective relationships with doctors, nurses and patients within the hospitalAdvanced Pathology Collection - collecting samples (blood and non-blood) across wards including Paediatrics, difficult bleeds and AGBs with care and attentionKeeping meticulous records for every patient and sample What Type of Person Will Be Successful To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Pathology Collector.
You could currently work in a hospital or a clinic and are looking to diversify and grow your career.
You could also be a Registered Nurse looking to swap overnight work for regular daytime shifts.
