Design Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Design Development Manager to join our team at White Fox Boutique in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our fashion designs from concept to production.

Job Description:

  • Assist the design team with setting up technical packs for new product lines.
  • Coordinate with factories to request strike-offs, lab dips, knit downs, and print placement requests.
  • Manage print strike-off trackers and communicate updates to the design team.
  • Collaborate with garment technicians to measure photoshoot samples and ensure accurate fit.
  • Manage incoming samples and DHL parcel tracking on a daily basis.
  • Approve lab dips, strike-offs, and trims to ensure quality control.
  • Maintain sample racks, print strike-off racks, and fabric drawers in an organized manner.
  • Support garment technicians with QC checking for bulk production in the warehouse.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the fast-fashion industry.
  • Tertiary education in Design is essential.
  • A passion for design and style.
  • General knowledge of garment construction and application of fabrications and trims to design.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to clearly convey information and ideas.
  • Ability to manage a high workload and meet tight deadlines.

Salary:$80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
