About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Pact Group as a Health and Safety Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing oversight and driving consistent implementation of HSES systems across our manufacturing sites. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the organization meets its legal and ethical obligations to provide a safe workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of health, safety, and environmental incidents and support sites with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action close-out.
• Monitor and drive activities with external regulatory bodies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of the Group HSES system.
• Plan and implement environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Identify common environmental, health, and safety hazards inherent at the site and establish guidelines for the control of hazards.
• Promote and champion a zero-harm culture by providing expert advice, support, and driving implementation of the Group HSES system.
• Establish risk management and risk mitigation programs.
• Monitor, interpret, and champion changes to the regulatory environment, including communication of changes to the Divisional and Site Management teams.
