Job Description

The role of the Emergency Response Coordinator involves providing timely and appropriate care to students and staff in alignment with training, departmental protocols, and relevant health and safety legislation. This includes delivering high-quality first aid and triage services, acting as the initial contact for students, ensuring referral to relevant staff when needed, and providing administrative support to the Student Wellbeing and Engagement (SWAE) team.

This is a permanent full-time position commencing with opportunities to work collaboratively with staff at all levels and in emergency situations. The successful applicant will have exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling them to foster respectful and genuine relationships with students, staff, and families, contributing positively to the college's inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications

Demonstrated relevant knowledge and expertise in First Aid and associated qualifications are essential. Additionally, sound interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels and in emergency situations, are highly desirable.
