About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Optimization Specialist to join our team at Medibank Private Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in analyzing, forecasting, and planning workforce supply and demand for frontline healthcare staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive commercial benefits through implementing best practice workforce planning optimization.
  • Manage the end-to-end forecasting, scheduling, and tactical optimization for assigned work groups to deliver a consistently safe and efficient service.
  • Report and communicate on emerging trends and anomalies, including adherence, shrinkage, occupancy, performance, and productivity.
  • Foster innovation, fine-tune tools, and creatively enhance processes to drive improved client outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to deliver excellence in customer service and KPIs attainment.
  • Provide narrative and graphical representation of resource plan assumptions, logic, calculations, variations, and associated staffing strategies and mitigation tactics.

About You

You will be a problem solver, analytical, and enjoy working with data. You will also bring to the role:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of workforce planning and optimization experience in large, complex contact centers, with relevant experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience in all aspects of workforce planning fundamentals of the contact center.
  • Knowledge and proficiency of Alvaria eWFM or alternate WFP software expertise.
  • Experience in modeling and analytical aptitude, with proven experience of producing reports, analysis, and numerically intensive work.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, and ability to source and interpret data via various reporting methodologies and tools.
