About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Workforce Planning Specialist to join our team at EssilorLuxottica. As a Workforce Planning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and organizing the schedules of our optometrists within OPSM, ensuring our stores' appointments run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain schedules for optometrists, balancing their availability with OPSM clinic demands
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations
  • Communicate effectively with Professional Services Manager & Area Eyecare Managers
  • Manage State and National Relief Teams
  • Minimize locum usage and optimize optometry annual leave balances
Requirements for Success
  • Meet the demands of each business unit to both the long-term and short-term strategy for EssilorLuxottica
  • Rosters to fill rates and create a culture of flexibility amongst the optometry community
  • Matches target optometry hours to maximize our sales
  • Manage compliance to optometry loadings
Knowledge & Skills Required
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Prior experience using an Employee Payroll System
  • Applies logic and clear thinking in assessing situations and information
  • Working in a fast-paced environment, it's necessary to identify priorities and be able to deal with conflicting deadlines
  • Possess a keen analytical mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for numbers and data
