About the Role


CareSouth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to support the rollout of a new Supported Independent Living (SIL) program based in Nowra.


Under the direction of the Manager, you will lead and coordinate the operational requirements of the team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring services and supports are provided in line with CareSouth's Practice Framework.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead and coordinate the operational requirements of the team
  • Ensure services and supports are provided in line with CareSouth's Practice Framework
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the safety of children, young people, and people with a disability
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work/Welfare, Social Sciences, Disability, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity within the OOHC, Disability Services, or Community Services sector
  • Proven flexibility, adaptability, and ability to respond and adjust easily to change in work demands
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of the ongoing effects of injuries, trauma, and/or neglect and abuse
  • Proven effective interpersonal, conflict negotiation, and resolution skills and to provide strong leadership under pressure
  • Current driver's licence
  • Willing to undergo a National Police Check, obtain a (NSW) Working with Children Check Clearance, and NDIS Worker Screening Check
