Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Rostering Coordinator to lead daily rostering operations, ensuring compliance and efficient shift allocations. In this role, you will foster a positive team culture, provide support for the rostering team, and ensure adherence to industrial relations obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a Positive Culture: Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
  • Support the Rostering Team: Engage and support the rostering team to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Develop and Maintain Rosters: Develop and maintain rosters to ensure optimal coverage and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Coordinate Shift Allocations: Coordinate shift allocations, adjustments, and replacements to address any staffing needs or changes.
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery Teams: Collaborate with service delivery teams, managers, and other departments to align rosters with service requirements and individual client needs.
  • Process and Maintain Records: Process and maintain accurate records of team member availability, leave requests & timesheets in consultation with managers.
  • Address Rostering-Related Issues: Address and resolve any rostering-related issues or conflicts in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Senior Roster Experience: Previous experience in a senior rostering or scheduling role, preferably within the disability support or healthcare sector.
  • Rostering Systems Knowledge: Solid understanding of the SCHADS award and rostering systems; experience using Visual Care is an advantage.
  • Organisational and Time-Management Skills: Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Working with Children Blue Card: Working with Children Blue Card
