About the Company: Six Degrees Executive is proud to partner with a leading food manufacturing organisation based in rural Victoria. This opportunity has arisen due to continued growth in the area, and we are seeking a skilled professional to lead their forecasting and supply/demand planning function.

About the Role: As a Demand Planner, you will report to the General Manager and be responsible for ensuring inventory availability meets future customer demand. You will participate in and employ S&OP, liaise with key stakeholders, and maintain inventory integrity across the network through cross-functional communication and thorough analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a rolling demand plan over a short-term horizon in a seasonal, highly promotional environment.
  2. Ensure inventory availability for a large and diverse customer base while aligning with broader company policy.
  3. Optimise stock turns while minimising existing slow-moving and obsolete lines.

Requirements:

  1. Demonstrated experience in a Demand Planner role in a fast-paced, complex planning environment.
  2. Demand and supply planning experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  3. Strong leadership skills with first-class communication and stakeholder management capability.
  4. Advanced Excel Skills.
