About the Company: Our client is a leading food manufacturing organisation with a strong presence in the industry. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a supply chain planning professional to lead their forecasting and supply/demand planning function.
About the Role: Reporting to the General Manager, the Supply Chain Planning Professional is responsible for ensuring that inventory availability meets future customer demand while also participating in and employing S&OP and liaising with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- The generation of a rolling demand plan over a short-term horizon in a seasonal, highly promotional environment.
- Ensuring inventory availability for a large and diverse customer base while keeping inventory holdings in line with broader company policy.
- Maintaining inventory integrity across the network through cross-functional communication and thorough analysis.
- Optimising stock turns while minimising existing slow-moving and obsolete lines.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in a supply chain planning role in a fast-paced, complex planning environment.
- Supply and demand planning experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Strong leadership skills with first-class communication and stakeholder management capability.
- Advanced Excel Skills.
