Postdoctoral Metallomics Research Position

The University is seeking a researcher to contribute to multidisciplinary research on biological adaptations to heavy metals.
This full-time, two-year fixed-term position will be based at the School of Chemistry.
- Perform metallomics studies including the preparation of responsive fluorescent sensors for application in biological studies.
- Publish research papers and assist with grant writing.
- Support teaching activities and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Requirements include a PhD in organic chemistry, chemical biology, protein engineering, or a related discipline, along with experience in synthesis, purification, and characterization of organic molecules.
Applicants should have experience in using research methodologies relevant to metallomics and preparing and deploying fluorescent proteins.
