Research Fellow in Metallomics and Chemical Biology

We are seeking a talented Postdoctoral Researcher to join our research team in metallomics and chemical biology. This exciting opportunity will allow you to contribute to cutting-edge projects, publish research papers, and support teaching activities.
About the Opportunity- Conduct research in metallomics and chemical biology, including the preparation of responsive fluorescent sensors for application in biological studies.
- Publish research papers and assist with grant writing and publishing original work.
- Support teaching activities and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- You hold a PhD (or near completion) in organic chemistry, chemical biology, protein engineering or a closely related discipline.
- You have experience in the synthesis, purification and characterization of organic molecules, as well as the use of research methodologies relevant to metallomics.
- You possess a proven ability to conduct research/scholarly activities under limited supervision either independently or as a member of a team.
- You are proficient in the use of NMR, IR, MS and UV-vis and fluorescence spectroscopy.
- You have published research as sole author or in collaboration.
- You are experienced in research record keeping, preparation of research papers and presentation of seminars.
