Food Safety Training Role

LRQA Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Safety Trainer to deliver and design training programs for clients in New South Wales. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing training and advisory services delivery, including public and in-house training courses, and special advisory projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver training programs and materials for public and in-company courses, ensuring consistency with LRQA's business assurance philosophy and methodology.
  • Deliver courses and events as scheduled, adapting training techniques to meet the needs and learning styles of delegates.
  • Identify business opportunities and pass leads to sales colleagues.
  • Undertake business assurance assessments within authorized areas of specialism.
  • Maintain professional competence by staying up-to-date with technical developments and updating records as required.
  • Take opportunities to promote additional or higher-value services.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject and a nationally recognized qualification in training design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Academic background in food safety, with proven experience as a food safety auditor and signed-off authorized trainer.
  • Expertise in various training and learning styles, techniques, and methods, with evidence of training competency for face-to-face and virtual training.
  • Lead auditor registration with a recognized body.
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels within client organizations.
