A not-for-profit organisation is seeking a motivated professional to empower refugee entrepreneurs in Australia. This role involves linking clients to resources, mentoring, and finance for business success.

You will guide culturally diverse clients from concept to launch, building trust while providing hands-on guidance.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop strong relationships with refugee entrepreneurs.
  • Deliver one-on-one mentoring or group workshops for business readiness.
  • Support clients in developing business plans, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and marketing strategies.
  • Guide clients through business registration, compliance, and launch.
  • Assess financing needs, prepare loan applications, and liaise with the credit team.
  • Conduct scheduled business reviews and provide tailored support.
  • Collaborate with community organisations and industry partners to strengthen referral pathways.

  • Clients progress from idea to business growth.
  • High client satisfaction and retention.
  • Strong loan approval rates through well-prepared submissions.
  • Growing partnerships and referrals within the refugee support ecosystem.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, finance or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with small businesses preferred.
  • Background in case management, client services, or financial services beneficial.
  • Experience working with culturally diverse communities highly regarded.
