Clinical Coach Role

Our organization seeks a skilled Audiologist or Audiometrist to serve as a Clinical Coach | Clinician. This position will collaborate closely with the State Sales and Operations Manager of Queensland West and our national Clinical Excellence Manager to enhance the performance of the clinical team across our clinics in Queensland.

This role offers a unique opportunity for growth, innovation, and collaboration. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing and delivering training programs, coaching professionals to achieve excellence, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is committed to ongoing professional development.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications, including a University Audiology degree or TAFE Audiometry qualification, and current membership or eligibility for membership of AudA or ACAud. Strong audiological skills and knowledge, previous experience in developing and delivering training, and a proven ability to influence behavior change are highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support, guidance, and coaching to clinicians to ensure clinical excellence, compliance, and optimal outcomes for our clinics.
  • Develop and conduct the Connect Hearing Clinical Induction Program.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Professional Bodies, educational institutions, and Hearing Aid Manufacturers.
  • Represent the organization at internal and external meetings with key stakeholders as required.
  • Assess and diagnose the extent of client hearing loss using a wide range of techniques, including audiometric tests.
  • Report results of assessments and tests in writing and make referrals to medical practitioners.
  • Recommend solutions to those with hearing impairment, including amplification, implantable devices, medical interventions, and assistive listening devices, and provide aural rehabilitation programs.
  • Provide counseling, advice, and information to clients and families as part of overall treatment.
  • Assist with the development and management of noise control and hearing conservation strategies.
  • Provide treatment and management of hearing and communication disorders that may be age-related, part of a disability, or acquired as a result of injury or disease.
Requirements:
  • University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification.
  • Current membership (CCP) or eligibility for membership (CCP) of AudA or ACAud.
  • Current QP number or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Solid audiological skills and knowledge.
  • Previous experience developing and delivering training.
  • Previous coaching experience, with ability to influence behavior change highly regarded.
  • Excellent levels of customer care and service, and a passion for delivering an amazing client experience.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve KPI's.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good team working ability.
  • Commitment to continued professional development.
  • Ability to learn and understand new software with training.
Benefits:
  • This is a permanent full-time position, 5 days per week, working in a Clinical Coach Capacity 3 days per week and as Clinician 2 days per week.
