Job Summary:

A skilled Panel Beater is required to join our team at the Ryde Depot. The successful applicant will have a mature and professional approach with excellent communication skills.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience working on various makes and models of vehicles.

The role involves preparing and cleaning of all surfaces prior to any paint application taking place, including filing, grinding and sanding the body of a vehicle to restore a smooth surface.

A key aspect of this role is maintaining high-quality work standards while adhering to WHS regulations.

About This Role:

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and cleaning of surfaces for paint application
  • Removing, repairing and replacing damaged panels
  • Maintaining workshop practices in line with WHS regulations
  • Performing body structural, accident damage and associated repairs, service and maintenance to vehicles as required
  • Manufacturing, servicing and fitting vehicle components

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated skills relative to a spray-painting role
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Adherence to WHS regulations and relevant company policies
  • Experience working in a team environment on daily maintenance and repair schedules
  • Proactivity in finding better ways to continuously improve, while being adaptable in a dynamic and growing team
  • Physical fitness to carry out the necessities of the role
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency or unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • An Unrestricted Australian driver's license issued by the relevant State
