Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced vehicle repair specialist to restore and fabricate parts for classic vehicles aged 30–120 years.

The position will be based at our Hindmarsh branch, a short drive from the Adelaide CBD, and close to public transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment & Repair:
    • Evaluate repair needs and assess vehicle damage.
    • Repair rust, dents, and accident damage on vehicle bodies and chassis.
    • Straighten vehicle bodies and chassis using specialized tools.
  • Fabrication & Restoration:
    • Craft rust repair panels with advanced tools.
    • Cut and join panels using welding procedures.
    • Perform metal shaping, lead-wiping/lead-loading, and refinishing.
  • Reassembly & Finishing:
    • Reinstall and align panels; install body hardware and accessories.
    • Collaborate with skilled craftsmen on custom and vintage vehicle restoration.
    • Support spray-painting processes as needed.
About You:

You must have:

  • A minimum of five years' hands-on experience in vehicle repair (desired).
  • A Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience restoring classic and vintage vehicles (desired).
  • A meticulous eye for detail and pride in craftsmanship.
  • A commitment to preserving automotive history while embracing innovative technologies.
  • Residency status allowing you to work in Australia.
