Electrical Superintendent Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Superintendent to join our team on the Cape Lambert A High Density Ore (CLAHDO) Project in Western Australia.

  • As a key member of our electrical leadership team, you will be responsible for championing best practice in HSE and leading by example.
  • You will mentor junior leaders and employees in technical and quality requirements, ensuring appropriate allocation of resources to achieve planned outcomes.
  • Pre-start risk assessments and reviewing/authorizing job hazard analyses (JHAs) are also part of your responsibilities.
  • Timesheets for services must be completed and signed off by clients, while overseeing performance of external contractors and suppliers is another critical task.
  • Work packs for project works and regular audits on electrical activities and installing works are essential duties.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A WA Electrical Licence
  • Experience in supervisory positions
  • Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor training or Section 44 with the aim to complete S26
  • Strong technical knowledge of fixed plant mining and other industrial construction projects
  • Experience completing CMS documentation for on-site personnel and equipment
  • Multidisciplinary experience in Civil, SMP, and E&I projects or shutdown environments
  • Ability to manage end-to-end deliverables on multiple projects
  • A current Australian Drivers Licence
