Accounts Receivable Officer

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team based in central Geelong. As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payments, investigating and resolving account queries, and achieving collection targets.

Job Description
  • Payment Receipting
  • Issuing reminder statements and follow-up phone calls to outstanding debtors
  • Investigating and resolving account queries
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end management of designated ledger
  • Achieving collection targets
  • Record retention
  • Manage and assess new patient accounts and claims
  • Assist all customers with accounts-related enquiries
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience as an Accounts Receivable Officer in the Health industry (highly regarded but not essential)
  • Accurate processing at a high speed
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to time manage with a steady inflow of work and strict deadlines
  • Demonstrated effective planning, organisational and analytical solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to work on flexible work schedules
