Financial Support Specialist

This role is a part-time position that covers parental leave until February 2027. You will be based in our office with flexible working arrangements.

The base pay for this role is A$90,794.00/yr (plus super and benefits). You will be responsible for maintaining the General Ledger, Balance Sheet reconciliations and fixed assets, as well as assisting the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.

  • You will record premium collection, prepayments, the Taxable Payments Annual Report and assist in the annual budget process, year-end reporting, financial projects and other finance-related tasks.
  • You will prepare general ledger reconciliations and maintain the financial system for residential housing services.

You will work closely with the Financial Operations Manager and have the opportunity to assist and support key financial projects throughout the year.

What we're looking for
  • Relevant tertiary qualification desirable, and/or experience in a similar role including demonstrated ability to collate and produce accurate financial information.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder experience – experience in developing meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Numeracy and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records. Proven ability to take initiative and work independently.
