Storyteller and Communications Strategist

As a key member of our Global Communications team, you'll help empower every person and organisation to achieve more by shaping compelling stories that showcase our innovations and positive impact on the world.

This role involves leading consumer and modern work communications for Microsoft in Australia and New Zealand. You'll develop strategies that support our consumer and modern work portfolio, drive storytelling that highlights innovation, customer impact, and product differentiation, and lead efforts that position our transformative tools as game-changers.

You'll work closely with marketing, sales, product, and global communications teams to develop narratives that resonate with Australian and New Zealand audiences, and build strong relationships with media, influencers, and creators.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in consumer communications, including influencer engagement and campaign management.
  • Proven experience working with creators and managing content creator campaigns.

It's desirable to have:

  • A deep understanding of the Australian and New Zealand consumer landscape.
  • Strong relationships with media, influencers, and creators.
  • Experience in tech, lifestyle, or AI-related communications.

As a storyteller and communications strategist, you'll partner with the Asia and global teams to ensure alignment and local relevance. If you're passionate about driving innovation and telling compelling stories, we'd love to hear from you.
