Lead Structural Designer

The role of a Lead Structural Designer is ideal for individuals with established experience seeking to take the next step in their Career by helping to lead and develop local teams, working on a diverse range of industrial, water, and wastewater infrastructure projects.

About the Role

As a Lead Structural Designer, you will have the opportunity to oversee structural designs for conveyance pipelines, hydraulic structures, pump stations, service reservoirs, and treatment facilities, as well as general light and heavy industrial projects. You will manage end-to-end project delivery, including design, documentation, and construction phase support.

You will join a diverse and talented team delivering creative, innovative solutions in partnership with clients. Our team enjoys collaborating, making things happen.

We are looking for a Chartered Professional Engineer with a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, with experience in the water and wastewater sector and general industrial structures.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in various aspects of structural engineering.
  • Experience delivering water and wastewater projects in accordance with Australian requirements.
  • Experience in scoping and developing engineering work packages.
  • An interest in strengthening and growing existing client connections and supporting the building of relevant new relationships.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and career progression, with a desire to develop and mentor junior engineers.
