At Bilingual Consulting, we are a multidisciplinary allied health clinic providing comprehensive speech therapy, occupational therapy, play therapy, and psychology services to support children's growth and development.
Role Summary:We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team as an Early Intervention Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to children aged 2-17, supporting their goals and needs in a family-centered approach.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with parents or caregivers, establishing child and family-centered goals, conducting therapy sessions, developing resources for home programs, and liaising with other professionals involved in the child's care.
About You:To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
- AHPRA registration in Australia
- Working with Children Check
- Current Driver's License and access to a vehicle (for off-site visits)
You should also have:
- Positive energy and a love for working with children
- Passion for bilingualism and experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
Your primary duties will include:
- Managing a paediatric caseload primarily working with ages 2-17
- Meeting with parents or caregivers for initial consultations
- Liaising with parents or caregivers to establish child and family-centered goals
- Conducting therapy sessions to support children in achieving their goals
- Developing resources for therapy and home programs
- Liaising with other professionals involved in the child's care
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
- $78,000 - $100,000 per annum (including superannuation)
- An incentive program with average annual commissions of $3,000
- Company-paid professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- Travel reimbursement
