Heavy Duty Fitter Opportunity

About this opportunity:

Our Brisbane branch has an exciting chance for a skilled Heavy Duty Fitter to join the team in our Remanufacturing division, working on the overhaul of hydraulic and mechanical components.

  • This role involves ensuring high-quality results, adhering to industry standards, and maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overhaul minor and major hydraulic and mechanical components on various equipment lines.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Australian Mobile Plant, Fitter Machinist, or Heavy Diesel trade qualifications.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions for component repair and remanufacture.
  • Provide expert guidance on Mining, Earthmoving, and/or Construction equipment.
  • Identify basic product quality deviations/faults and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality work products.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of industry best practices and regulations.
