Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tour Group Specialist to join our team in Melbourne Airport. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for creating and managing sales and gross profit growth by providing exceptional customer service.

Your primary focus will be on engaging with all customers, with a particular emphasis on Tour Groups. You will work closely with PRC tour group leaders to build strong relationships and promote our products effectively.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Completing activities and actively supporting initiatives to create and grow sales in the PRC Tour Group market
  • Assisting in building and maintaining good relationships with PRC tour group leaders
  • Using expert knowledge to identify customer needs and provide suitable product recommendations
  • Developing a good understanding of products that appeal to PRC Tour Group customers and their buying preferences
  • Awareness of and achievement of sales budgets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Being proactive and creative in approaching customers and up-selling
  • Awareness of competitor activity
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and stock management
  • Knowledge and understanding of the product range and current promotional activities

Your Key Accountabilities:

  • Providing a friendly, professional, and ethical standard of service to customers
  • Succeeding in resolving issues with internal and external customers
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales, returns, and customer service issues
  • Actioning warranty repairs in a timely manner
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English
  • Demonstrable experience of providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to communicate fluently (verbal and written) in English and Mandarin
  • Proven track record of achieving successful sales in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • A reasonable level of physical fitness for manual handling and heavy lifting
  • Demonstrable high standard of personal presentation
  • Demonstrable ability to be punctual
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of retail/customer service operations
  • Strong numerical ability
  • A strong sense of urgency at all times
  • Demonstrable proactive approach to work tasks
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and resolve basic problems
  • Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal communication
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. In addition to an attractive salary, you will have access to our employee benefits program, including in-store discounts and pop-up product sales.
