We are seeking a highly skilled Event Operations Specialist to join our team for a short-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and implementing the annual customer event.

  • Plan, manage and implement the plan for the event
  • Create project timelines and work back plans in partnership with Content, Digital and Event partner and operations team
  • Research and secure venue and digital platform
  • Negotiate quotes and agreements with vendors
  • Assist with event marketing, monitoring timeframes and budgets, networking, and delivering on event objectives
  • Find speakers, instructors and panelists to be involved in the events, and work with them and the Content team on their presentations, including assets
  • Manage the Events Agency
  • Work with the Internal Comms team to drive awareness and participation of the event with staff
  • Build the promotional plan to drive registrations
  • Run the event on the day
  • Create the post analysis report after the event including recommendations for the following year

To be considered for this role you should have;

  • A tertiary degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or Events
  • Experience in Marketing and/or branding
  • Experience managing teams of contractors
  • Experience establishing partnerships
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Exposure to B2B, SaaS and technology
