Job Opportunity

This position involves undertaking a competency-based traineeship to develop laboratory techniques through formal and on-the-job learning activities.

The selected candidate will participate in a 24-month maximum term, full-time role with the opportunity to earn while they learn.

About the Role

  1. Perform sampling and testing tasks as per established procedures
  2. Apply technical skills and basic scientific knowledge to support laboratory operations

Requirements

  • A minimum of Year 10 education with passes in English and Mathematics
  • A current Working with Children Clearance (Blue Card) or ability to obtain it
  • A valid Queensland C class provisional drivers' licence (or ability to obtain)
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent computer skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
