Job Title: Laboratory Trainee

This full-time traineeship offers an opportunity to develop skills in laboratory techniques and participate in a nationally recognised qualification pathway.


About The Role

As a laboratory services trainee, you will undertake a competency-based traineeship to develop a range of skills through formal and on-the-job learning activities.


Responsibilities
  • Undertake a competency-based traineeship to develop laboratory techniques.
  • Perform straightforward sampling and testing following set procedures.
  • Support various laboratory operations under supervision.

About You
  • Willingness to contribute to a positive safety culture and adhere to health and safety policies.
  • Completed year 10 with passes in English and mathematics.
  • Working with children clearance or ability to obtain.
  • Queensland c class provisional drivers licence or ability to obtain.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good computer skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Willingness to undertake requirements to successfully complete the associated qualification.
