Lead Transfer Pricing Specialist

This role is based in Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.
Your Key Responsibilities- Apply complex transfer pricing concepts and business, economic, and financial knowledge to resolve client challenges. Support Partners on high-level engagements, including transfer pricing planning, operational transfer pricing, compliance requirements, and tax authority engagement.
- Manage engagements and maintain day-to-day client relationships, including participating in meetings with clients and tax authorities. Review transfer pricing analyses, documentation, and models prepared by team members to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Mentor, train, and support the development of team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages growth and knowledge sharing.
Ideally, you'll possess at least 5+ years (Manager) / 7+ years (Senior Manager) of Transfer Pricing experience within a top-tier accounting firm, corporate, tax consulting, or legal environment. Demonstrate good drafting skills, the ability to apply facts to Transfer Pricing legislation, and advise clients on implications.
- Have experience in assimilating complex information and data sources to provide succinct and well-informed recommendations. Exhibit strong teaming and leadership skills with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly.
- Show strong commercial acumen, staying abreast of wider legal, economic, environmental, and political factors that influence transfer pricing. Exceptional client service orientation and a collaborative approach to teaming are essential.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher qualification. Financial modelling, Excel skills, AI skills, and Bloomberg skills are beneficial. Skills in emerging technologies and data would be a distinctive advantage.
