About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to fulfill key accountabilities and responsibilities within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide ethical decision making in the achievement of organizational goals, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Assess patients, determine appropriate investigations, and instigate timely interventions.
  • Develop and implement management plans for patients in consultation with senior medical staff.
  • Communicate assessment findings, proposed management plans, and alternatives to patients and carers, securing informed consent.
  • Gather input from multidisciplinary teams for ongoing patient care, continually monitoring and reviewing progress.
  • Ensure timely communication to General Practitioners, other healthcare providers, and carers to facilitate ongoing patient care post-hospital stay.

Clinical Expertise:

  • Assess patients and determine relevant investigations, applying knowledge of clinical guidelines.
  • Develop and implement management plans for patients, prioritizing their needs and promoting optimal outcomes.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in research activities, enhancing patient care and service delivery.
  • Engage in professional development through tutorials, grand rounds, and on-the-job training, advancing skills and expertise.
  • Serve as a role model to junior medical staff, promoting excellence and supporting their growth and development.
