Carpentary Supervisor Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Carpentary Supervisor to lead a team of carpenters on various construction projects across residential and commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the building industry, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves overseeing a team of two other carpenters on tasks ranging from formwork to fitout. You will be working on diverse and impressive projects such as the renovation of a historic church, influencing your team to deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.

  • Must be a Trade Qualified Carpenter
  • White card, drivers' licence and covid vaccinated
  • Demonstrated experience in and extensive knowledge of the building industry
  • A strong work ethic
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team
  • A confident and positive attitude
  • An ability to problem-solve and take initiative on site
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to Workplace Health & Safety principles and practices
  • Will be required to pass a medical (including drug and alcohol testing)

This permanent contract role offers $45 per hour pay. Additionally, you will receive a car and fuel card, provided phone and laptop. Working hours are standard 40-hour weeks with minimal overtime expected.
