Workfast is looking for a Cabinet maker/CarpentryTrade Assistant, paying $38 per hour plus penalties and OT for an immediate start working Monday to Friday, 8-10 hours working in various locations across Hobart, TAS.

  • $38 per hour plus penalties

What you need

  • Construction White Car
  • Cabinet-making experience
  • Able to work on your own
  • Must have construction experience
  • Carpentry experience preferred
  • Australian Driver License
  • A positive and willing attitude
  • Ability to complete drug and alcohol medical

What will you be doing

  • Working within a team across various locations in Hobart, carrying out construction of facilities, inclusive of schools, sporting grounds and council areas. All new commercial construction.
  • Working for a reputable company
  • Reporting to the site supervisor
  • Carry out a wide range of carpentry tasks including framing, formwork, fix-out, and finishing.
  • Interpret and work from construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Perform general labouring duties to support the broader team as required.
  • Assist with site preparation and clean-up.
  • Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinetry, and drywall.
