As a Nursing Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to residents in an aged care setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and caring professional who enjoys working in a flexible, dynamic environment.

Career Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centered care to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity are maintained at all times.
  • Maintaining accurate records of resident health, administering medications and treatments as required.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure best practice care and promote effective communication among team members.
  • Supporting and educating families and staff on care-related matters to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical standards, including Aged Care Quality Standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Prior experience in an aged care setting is highly preferred but not essential.
  • Current influenza vaccination record.
  • Ideal candidate would have undergone NDIS Workers Screening Check or be willing to obtain one.
  • Australian Police Check (or willingness to undergo one).
  • Full working rights in Australia.
