About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our multi-disciplinary disability services team at The Benevolent Society.

As a Disability Support Specialist - Speech Therapy, you will work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based client-centred services to people with disabilities who have language, literacy, voice, and specific eating, drinking, or total communication needs.

You will be responsible for creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualised needs of our diverse range of clients, implementing appropriate evidence-based services that meet the needs of clients according to the goals and within the allocated hours of their NDIS plan, and participating in support planning processes for clients to deliver coordinated, effective, service provision that meets the needs of the clients.

  • Salary: Up to $103,000 per annum, plus superannuation and salary packaging options, including up to $15,900 per annum pre-tax for everyday expenses and a $2,650 meals and entertainment card + discount program.
  • Flexible Work Arrangements: Part-time hours, work from home, and 1 accrued day off per month for full-time employees.
  • Professional Development: Monthly Communities of Practice, leadership training opportunities, regular clinical supervision, and access to long service leave after 5 years.

  • Multidisciplinary Team: Collaborating with Occupational Therapists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, and Psychologists to deliver best outcomes for clients.
