Cloud Services Specialist Role Overview

This position involves collaborating with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partners in Asia Pacific and Japan to develop high-quality Managed Services practices.

You will define technical standards, provide architectural guidance, and help Partners improve their ability to serve AWS customers.

Work closely with the Worldwide Managed Service Provider Partner Solutions Architects team to drive program direction.

  • Create and implement a technical strategy for the AWS MSP Program in APJ.
  • Develop scalable solutions to enhance Partners' technical capabilities.
  • Establish technical validation criteria and best practices for the MSP Program.
  • Foster a community of Solutions Architects focused on MSP enablement.
  • Collaborate with Partners to influence AWS service roadmaps.
Main Responsibilities
  • Author technical content, deliver presentations, and create training materials.
  • Provide technical guidance to strategic MSP Partners.
Your Key Activities

Collaborate with stakeholders across APJ and globally.

Travel to Partner and AWS events approximately 5-10 times annually within APJ and globally.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering).
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
  • Deep expertise in AWS services.
  • Experience with managed services, cloud operations, and enterprise architecture.
  • A strong track record of technical leadership and community building.
  • Professional-level fluency in written and spoken English.
