About This Role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge credit risk models. This senior manager position plays a pivotal role in shaping our organization's approach to credit risk stress testing and collective provisioning.

Reporting to the Head of Risk Analytics and Modelling, you will lead a team of analysts in designing and delivering robust stress testing frameworks that accurately capture emerging risks like climate change. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our models remain insightful and responsive to regulatory expectations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in complex environments, has a passion for data-driven problem-solving, and can effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

About You
  • You possess deep knowledge of credit risk, stress testing, and collective provisioning, with at least eight years of experience in similar roles.
  • Your background in mathematical and statistical modelling, combined with proficiency in SQL, SAS, R, Python, and version control platforms, makes you an ideal candidate for this position.
  • You can bridge the gap between technical modelling and business context, explaining complex ideas to stakeholders and driving informed decision-making.
  • Your leadership skills, coupled with your ability to collaborate and adapt to changing circumstances, make you well-suited for this senior role.
