Product Development Lead

We are seeking an experienced Product Development Lead to join our team and drive the creation of innovative energy solutions.

  • Develop and implement product strategies that enable participation in the Australian Frequency Control Ancillary Services (FCAS) market
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate control systems, storage, and generation assets for reliable FCAS services
  • Design and deploy energy management systems that optimise bidding and dispatch in FCAS markets
  • Support testing, validation, and performance reporting of assets providing FCAS services
About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, energy systems, or economics, with experience in energy markets, grid operations, or battery storage systems. They will be able to demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage complex projects with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Economics, or related discipline
  • Deep knowledge of the NEM and FCAS markets (Raise/Lower, Regulation, Contingency services)
  • Proven experience in energy markets, grid operations, or battery storage systems
  • Strong analytical skills in market modelling, dispatch optimisation, and asset performance evaluation
  • Familiarity with AEMO systems and regulatory compliance requirements
