Disability Support Team Leader

Our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities by delivering high-quality care services. We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Team Leader to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support a team of Disability Support Workers, escalating concerns as needed.
  • Ensure an efficient and effective working environment for the team, addressing roster changes and staffing issues in collaboration with the Roster Coordinator.
  • Assist Area Managers in building team rosters 8-12 weeks in advance to ensure optimal coverage.
  • Ensure that client care plans, including BSP, and other support plans, are being followed and meet the needs of each participant.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in supervising or leading a team of disability support workers.
  • Experience supporting individuals with a range of disabilities, including mental health, epilepsy, autism, and challenging behaviors.
  • Previous experience working across multiple group homes or SIL houses.
  • Proficiency in basic Excel for creating weekly reports.
  • A Certificate III in Disability (or similar/higher qualification).
