Night Shift Production Supervisor

Our organization is seeking an experienced and skilled individual to assume the role of Night Shift Production Supervisor at our manufacturing facility. As a Night Shift Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing the production process, ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Oversight: You will be responsible for overseeing concrete batching and front-end loader operations to guarantee efficient production processes.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Management System to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Environmental Responsibility: Manage the water and waste management system, adhering to environmental requirements to minimize the plant's ecological footprint.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee concrete production to meet customer specifications and deadlines, ensuring that all products are of the highest quality.
  • Operational Efficiency: Optimize truck and personnel scheduling to ensure smooth and efficient operations, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels by ordering raw materials and conducting regular inventory checks to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate equipment maintenance and engage contractors when necessary to ensure that all machinery is in good working order.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and support to the production team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks and contribute to operational improvements to enhance overall performance.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a production or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet production deadlines.
  • Effective leadership abilities to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Front-end loader certification and LF forklift license (desired).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous computer batching experience would be advantageous.
