Workshop Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Workshop Supervisor to join our team. This is a site-based workshop position that reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead from the front, driving our safety culture and vision to lead the industry through safe maintenance practices.
  2. Manage resources effectively to ensure maintenance schedules are met.
  3. Drive operational efficiencies and provide leadership and supervision through on-the-ground presence, guidance, and feedback to teams and individuals.
  4. Conduct scheduled employee performance appraisals and develop corrective and growth plans as needed.
  5. Resolve problems and conflicts within the crew and be hands-on when required, performing servicing, repairs, and maintenance of mobile plant equipment.

Requirements:

  • Heavy Diesel Fitter Trade qualification
  • Current driver's license
  • Experience in supervisory or management roles
  • Experience maintaining Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi mobile equipment
  • Experience with Kenworth and Mack Trucks and related gear
  • Industry experience in civil/mining sectors with a solid understanding of mobile plant and crushing operations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance systems like MEX
  • Strong planning, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with employees, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
