Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior Payroll Officer to join our team. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for assisting in the everyday payroll processing across our three Preceda Payroll databases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the security and creation of Access Profiles for all Managers and Self-Serve Users.
  • Support the Payroll Team's entire functions across all payroll environments.
  • Maintain records and perform audit checks on fringe benefits and meal entertainment payments.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Implement effective risk management procedures to ensure compliance with legal, employment, and governance requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months payroll experience.
  • Knowledge of Awards and Collective Agreements.
  • Ability to maintain an audit process on data held within Preceda or similar payroll systems.
  • Proven ability to identify and investigate anomalies and follow up with managers.
  • Experience managing highly confidential employee details.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with managers and staff at all levels.
