Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We're looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team, helping us shape the future of Public Cloud services.

  • Provide Level 3 systems support for Managed Public Cloud Services delivered to customers.
  • Build, deploy and maintain Azure infrastructure, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Prepare and review technical change requests, collaborating with cross-functional teams as required.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation and diagrams, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Prepare and provide leadership in automation, scripting, infrastructure as code and DevOps practices, driving continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and escalation support across the team as needed, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Responsible for customer engagements, including regular reviews, general communications, and workshops, building strong relationships.
  • Input to and review project designs, migration plans, and test plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Stay current with vendor supplied and other best practice cloud solution architectures, continuously developing skills and knowledge.
  • Participation in the after-hours on-call rotating roster, demonstrating commitment to team success.
Requirements

We're seeking someone with:

  • Azure Associate-level certificate or equivalent essential.
  • Azure Architect or equivalent certificate desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar senior Server or Cloud support role.
  • High-level competency in Azure infrastructure management, including Entra ID, SAML, and OAUTH.
  • Strong competency in Azure Resource Manager, Microsoft Partner technologies, and infrastructure management.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills, analytical research, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Competency in GitOps and general DevOps processes, with good capabilities in scripting, automation, and infrastructure as code.
  • Understanding of ITIL framework, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
