GenesisCare is dedicated to delivering world-class cancer care, and we're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Radiation Oncology Fellow. This exciting opportunity will enable you to develop your clinical skills, contribute to the advancement of radiation oncology research, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing inpatient and outpatient cancer patients who may receive radiation therapy. They will collaborate with research teams and other specialists, working under the supervision of experienced Radiation Oncologists. As part of this role, you'll have the opportunity to participate in clinical research, interpret and analyze data, and develop your own specialty interests.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • MBBS or equivalent, registered or eligible to be registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Completion of at least 4 years of accredited training in Radiation Oncology or other oncology specialty.
  • Demonstrated Clinical Competency appropriate to level.
  • Working towards completion of relevant College examinations.
  • Ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment, utilizing excellent clinical skills, judgment, and expertise.
  • Teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills, as part of a multidisciplinary team; involvement in continuous quality improvement.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy for patients and their carers.
  • Commitment to developing research skills and collaborating with other researchers.
  • Clinical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate the clinical management of care.
  • Commitment to and involvement in the application of quality improvement and evidence-based practice principles.
