At GTS Fire Protection, we take fire safety seriously. That's why we're seeking a skilled Fire Systems Testing Technician to join our team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position where you'll be responsible for testing and inspecting various fire protection systems across multiple client sites. Your work will involve identifying issues, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

  • Exit and emergency lighting systems
  • Sprinkler and pump systems
  • Hydrants
  • Fire and smoke doors

As a Fire Systems Testing Technician, you'll need to possess a strong understanding of AS standards and have prior experience in maintaining, servicing, and repairing commercial fire protection equipment.

About You
  • You must be a self-motivated professional with excellent communication skills.
  • Prior experience working independently and as part of a team is essential.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in service management apps like Uptick, are necessary.
  • Effective time management, organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are also required.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to thorough work are vital.
  • A current NSW Driver's Licence and General Construction Induction Card (White Card) are mandatory.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, NSW Police, and working with children background check.
