Pastoral Care Volunteer

This role involves visiting clients in their homes, offering companionship and care. You will be part of a local Christian community, working closely with like-minded individuals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support clients with their spiritual needs
  • Foster strong relationships built on empathy and trust

Requirements:
  • Demonstrate high interpersonal skills, including effective communication and active listening
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect client boundaries
  • Complete a National Volunteer Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check

Training and Support:
  • Participate in pastoral care training programs, such as Chaplaincy or Clinical Pastoral Education
  • Engage in HammondCare's Spiritual Care Series training
